N Scale Trainman® Debuts!
He’s finally here! A year after the Atlas Trainman® first made his O Scale debut, the N Scale Trainman® line is now arriving at your nearest hobby shop. With the HO Trainman® line hitting the market in winter 2005/06, Atlas model railroaders can now add the popular and affordable Trainman™ lines to their layouts in all three scales Atlas produces!
The first seven N Scale Trainman® freight cars will hit the shelves between October 2006 and February 2007. Selling for $9.95 each, these initial offerings include the all-new ACF® 3560 Covered Hopper and 50’6” Box Car. The other five initial N Scale Trainman® freight cars were originally part of Atlas’ Master™ Line, re-created with new paint schemes and road numbers for their Trainman™ debut.
The seven body styles include: 40’ Airslide Covered Hopper, 50’ Double Door Box Car, 70 Ton Ore Car, 40’ PS-1 Box Car, Flatcar with Stakes, along with the brand new tooling of the ACF® 3560 Covered Hopper and 50’6” Box Car. Each freight car features prototypical detail, true scale dimensions, accurate details, painting and printing, and are all equipped with Accumate® couplers.
