The “Timesaver” is a switching game that tests problem-solving skills to see who can deliver freight cars to their destinations in the shortest time. “Model railroading is an educational hobby whose popularity is growing,” the pamphlet states. “Model railroading clubs exist worldwide and the number of individuals operating their own model railroads is increasing. Model railroads often have amazingly realistic scenery and frequently these modeled scenes represent portions of actual railroads.
