Dear Atlas RR Report Reader- These seemingly simple words are what Atlas constantly strives for on a daily basis and represent our promise to you as an Atlas customer. With the help of our manufacturers, we use a sophisticated, just-in-time system, which carefully monitors and updates the process from start to finish. This on-line schedule, (see A-Z Shipping Schedule at www.atlasrr.com), allows Atlas to provide for all to see, important dates that include product announcements, customer ordering windows, container loading and final shipment to distributors and hobby shops for every locomotive and freight car we produce. You can even receive email notices of product deliveries for any scale on a monthly basis. This ‘real-time information’ allows distributors and dealers to stay current and plan promotions for Atlas releases, and for consumers to plan purchases, or suggest gifts, of a desired product. “…outstanding model railroad products” – If you’re looking for “toy” model trains, Atlas is not the company for you. Atlas prides itself on producing some of the finest, most accurate operating reproductions of N, HO and O scale prototypes available in the model railroad industry. The method of achieving this accuracy calls for a commitment which may be claimed by some, yet is rarely matched at Atlas levels. The Atlas dedication to research and development is accomplished in-house. It takes a staff of experienced individuals who possess a depth of knowledge in both the model and real railroad industries throughout the United States. This staff makes certain all products stay as true to the original as possible. The value you and your family receive in purchasing and operating Atlas trains, track and other products, is readily apparent through years of long term usage, realistic great looks, and the overall satisfaction of owning some of the finest products available in model railroading. “… year-in, year-out”- Atlas
has a deserved reputation for high quality and consistency that
in part is due to the company being owned and operated by the same
family for more that 80 years. This history and tradition, founded
on the goal of achieving the American dream by a gifted tool and
die craftsman who immigrated to the United States from Czechoslovakia
at the turn of the century, allows Atlas the important perspective
of knowing where it came from and where it is going. The desire
